Media One Tower, located in Dubai Media City is a 40-storey mixed-use building in the TECOM district. The project was developed by Al-Jaber Engineering & Contracting – ALEC and completed in 2008. Media One Tower houses a 370-room hotel spread across ten levels and six restaurants, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a business centre, and one floor of luxurious meeting spaces fitted with the newest technology. The hotel will have ordinary rooms, junior suites, executive suites, four restaurants, a lounge bar, and ground-floor retail space. On Media One Tower’s upper level, there will be office spaces. One basement floor will be designated for car parking, and seven specially designed podiums will be used by company executives. There is a separate entrance on the ground floor that leads to the offices. Media One Tower has a typical floor plate size of 12,920 sq. ft. and collective office space of 245,479 sq.ft.
