It was designed by Atkins and developed by Indigo Properties LLC and is part of DMCC, a dedicated Dubai Free Zone for multi-commodities trading and open to various other sectors. It offers a variety of office spaces for rent and sale. Indigo Icon tower is a high-rise building with 34 floors and the office tower has an A-shaped frame and indigo-coloured glass. Typical floor plates in Indigo Icon Tower are about 10,290 sq. ft and each office has a dedicated parking area, a guarded entrance, a fully equipped pantry and a bathroom. Indigo Icon Tower has a collective office space of nearly 343,738 sq. ft.

Indigo Icon Tower is situated near Almas Tower, which is the headquarters of the renowned Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC).
