Craig Rooney

Craig joined Cushman & Wakefield Core as Managing Director of Project & Development Services, bringing over 20 years of international experience in delivering large-scale developments across the full project lifecycle.

For the past decade, he led the real estate and development function at Shamal, a diversified Dubai-based investment firm, where he was responsible for an AED 20 billion portfolio spanning masterplans, mixed-use communities, luxury hospitality, and residential projects. Notable schemes included Dubai Harbour, Baccarat Hotel & Residences, Hart Shoreditch London, Tiara United Towers, and Naia Island Dubai.

Earlier in his career, Craig held senior roles as developer, consultant, and contractor, contributing to projects such as La Mer Dubai, Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Union Square Aberdeen.

With a proven ability to manage complex, high-profile developments, Craig combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to deliver projects that create long-term value for clients and stakeholders.
