Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) is a major industrial complex situated in the UAE's capital, strategically placed away from residential areas. Inaugurated in 2012, this development stretches to Abu Dhabi's primary ports. KEZAD was conceived as Abu Dhabi's pioneer industrial free zone, aimed at attracting international investment. It has since grown to become the largest free zone in the region.
KEZAD is situated in Taweelah, a greenfield area adjacent to Khalifa Port. The zone's southern boundary is defined by two major highways: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (E11). Positioned between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, KEZAD lies approximately 67 km from the mainland. This expansive area is home to a diverse array of commercial and industrial enterprises.
